Downtown SLC

Walker Center is ideally located in the heart of downtown, which boasts over 3 million tourists annually. Directly across the street is the Gallivan Center, downtown Salt Lake’s town square, hosts over 300 events per year. Within half a block is nearly 2 million square feet of office space, with 10,000 office workers. Just north is the City Creek shopping center, with 825,000 SF of retail and dining, anchored by Nordstrom and Macy’s.

 

Walker Center tenants enjoy excellent and convenient access from all the surrounding areas. With light rail service at its front door and the majority of the bus routes within a block, Utah Transit Authority provides convenient access to commuters from the many residential areas located south and east of the central business district.

Attractions

Several excellent recreational and cultural opportunities are just steps from the Walker Center's main entrance. The Symphony Hall and Salt Lake Art Center are located three blocks northwest of Walker Center. Gallivan Center, located just South of the Walker Center across 200 South Street, is an urban oasis that provides downtown entertainment, including daily concerts and shows throughout the summer, a large aviary, landscaped open spaces, and a winter time Rockefeller Center-styled, open-air ice rink.
